When leaves begin to turn and fall, when beautiful white clouds flit quickly across the deep blue sky, when sunrise doesn’t appear until almost 8:00AM, we all know its Fall Festival time all throughout Indy. And, Crystal Pointe is no exception.
Our tradition continued with the neighborhood train ride, the moonwalk for children to jump in to their hearts content. Also featured were numerous goodies baked by Yvonne Cavallini and Colette Hoff as well as varieties of apples to eat, apple cider to drink (an adult and childs version), donuts, gourds of all kinds, and other snacks.
The event lasts from 4-6PM and is along Crystal Pointe Lane. And, as usual parents and grandparents arrive anywhere in between. Though we had booked pony rides and a petty zoo to arrive, sadly it never appeared. Several attempts to contact the group met with frustrating results in that no one answered. All of us next year shall strive to make sure the ponies and zoo return. As always a great debt is owed to Yvonne and Dan, Colette, Joyce Looper, Jay Bridge for their help and for all those who remained behind to help with the cleanup.
See you next year!
