Executive Board Meeting
TUESDAY, January 6, 2008
7PM at Karin’s house

I. Minutes of November 11, 2008, Executive Board Meeting
attendance: Chris, John, Johnn, Karin, Lee
A. JOHN will
1. Continue to monitor CPHOA liability insurance on law suit,
2. Call for Election Committee report,
3. Prepare minutes of this meeting,
4. Prepare January Business Mtg Agenda
5. Distribute November newsletter.
6. Lois on Cap Improve minutes, (AGAIN)
7. Give Chris phone for pond water testing,
B. CHRIS will
1. Write newsletter article about trees falling out of yards by Nov 1,
2. Help Karin with 2009 tentative budget,
3. Check on status of lake testing.
4. Cost of removing silt traps by working with Rick Sutherlin
C. JOHNN will
1. Prepare article for website on front entrances,
2. Provide copies on ARB approvals and other letters sent to
homeowners to John for records,
3. Give Wickham ARB form for her deck; also check on approval on house next to Wickham,
D. LEE will
1. Tell Tim Biddle about new mailbox prices
2. Get name of City Council rep so that we can deal with tree
trimming,
E. KARIN
1. Review compilations for 2006 & 2007 when they come in and explain at Oct CPHOA Bus Mtg,
2. Tentative budget for 2009 + call for committee expenses, tentative budget to be posted on website
3. Give Chris number for Hoosier Acquatic,

II. OTHER
A. Agreed that payback for capitol expenditures for the front become part of the 2009 budget in order to get the full expenditures for the project paid for, e.g., GT tree removal, redo landscape, the actual entrance work, etc.
B. Agreed to vote on the entrance contract by Friday, 11/14/08,
C. Agreed on dates for next Exec Bd meeting and CPHOA meeting,, 1/6/09 & 1/20/09 respectively



III. NEW
A. Review CPHOA Jan Bus Mtg Agenda,
B. Review proposed budget,
C. Decide on outside billing service: whether to recommend or not
D. GT on tree removal,
E. KIB on evergreens,
F. New Rule: No homeowner in arrears or in any other violation of the COVENANTS may serve on any committee until the issue is resolved.
G. Electric work for carriage lights
F. Landscaping plans for this Spring
H. Law case, update
I. Keeping better records, documents, history of actions, etc., e.g., bank statements, approvals, letters to homeowners, etc.
J. Committee liaisons,
K. Donation to KIB
J. Progress report on entrances
L. Fence along lake.
M. Easter Egg Hunt
