On March 27, CPHOA celebrated our 10th annual Easter Egg Hunt. Though the day was chilly, a bright sunny day soon warmed us up as did piping hot coffee. The event took place along the east end of our pond which looked lovely in the morning light.
Three homeowners graciously allowed us to use their yards for the children to hunt the illusive candy filled eggs. Thanks goes to Tracy Keys, Charles and Laura Nicodemus and Gina Reyes, two of whom had their children participate in the event. Charles and Laura provided a large deck which we used as our base of operations. They also decorated their trees, both front and back, with eggs which served as a beacon to parents looking for the event.
A special treat arrived for the children before the actual hunt began--the Easter Bunny appeared, distributed candy and posed for photos with everyone. We were also delighted to welcome two new families to Crystal Pointe who sampled our hospitality at the event.
As always the event concluded with a drawing for several Easter prizes that homeowners donated. Of course, this fun filled activity depended on the hard work of several volunteers--The Feeney family: Heather, Tom, Brad, and Caitlyn as well as Devon Johnson.
